This seasonal resource consists of a two page template for pupils to do a research project on how Christmas is celebrated in different countries around the world. It aims to create awareness of the differences in how the season is celebrated differently than it is in Ireland. This resource promotes independent and co-operative learning.

The templates give the pupils a structure to the research project: Introduction, Food, Present Giver, Christmas Day, Customs, Did You Know?, Religious Celebrations, How It Differs From Ireland and Conclusion. Structuring a project really helps to keep pupils focused on finding the important information.

There are three blank sections on the first page for pupils to complete in what ever way they wish eg. an illustration or an interesting fact about the country.

The resource also includes a colourful header to include when displaying all of the pupils’ research projects.
