With the theme of Christmas well under way in many classrooms throughout the country, this Nativity Image Mat might be a welcome addition to talk, discussion and writing on the theme of the Nativity, especially in junior classes. It could also act as a stimulus for a retelling of the Christmas Story.

This could be displayed on the IWB to lead a class discussion and to help pupils to learn new Nativity vocabulary. It could also be printed out and laminated for each group of pupils to prompt written work on the topic of the Nativity.
